For most of us, 2022 was a pretty tough year, wasn’t it?
After going through two years of the pandemic, we thought 2022 would be a time to recover — maybe see some positive changes. But the global economy took a complicated turn, and that ended up affecting Vietnam’s economy too, making things far from ideal.
They say 2023 might also be a gloomy year, at least until the end of the third quarter. Even though I’ve mentally prepared myself, I still hope it won’t be as quiet and uncertain as 2022 was.
On this first day of the year, I want to send my best wishes to all of you — those who’ve followed me, are following me, and will follow me in the future.

This year, I’ve set a few personal goals. I’m writing them down here so I can come back at the end of the year and see how much I’ve accomplished:
- Pay off all debts
- Complete 50% of my little “home” at thientt.net
- Complete 50% of my Emergency Fund
- Lose 5kg
- Read 12 books, at least 6 of them about finance
